Antonia Forster is a published biologist, experienced science presenter, and LGBTQ+ speaker. 

 

Antonia is best known for her TEDxBristol talk on LGBTQIA+ behaviour in Animals; delivered to a live audience of 2,000, and reaching over 12,000 views on Youtube. She is a passionate advocate for minority representation (women in STEM, QWoC, queer and non-binary people) in STEM and science media.

 

As well as TEDxBristol, she has spoken at Wilderness Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Kew Gardens, the Royal Society, the Grant Museum of Zoology, Science Show-Off, Science Standup, BCRadio, BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Radio H&W.

Antonia is a science presenter, comedian and performer.

 

Possibly the only scientist named after her expertise, Ant has completed an MSc in social-insect colony behaviour and published her results. She now works as a science presenter at festivals, science centres, zoos; and a keynote speaker at conferences.

 

She has delivered talks at Wilderness Festival, Kew Gardens, the Royal Society, the Grant Museum of Zoology, BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Radio H&W.
